Award Winning Design

In 1996 Doug Rawson-Harris designed and

developed the Multi-Function light pole system

known as the Smartpole.

Goldspar manufactured and installed the first

527 Smartpoles for the City of Sydney.

The design won Doug an Australian Design

Award in 1998 and Goldspar remains the

copyright holder of this design.
